New Goal

There are a few things I want to incorporate into my life to become healthier. I'm finally at the point where I want to make real, lifelong changes rather than quick-fixes. I'm ready to nurture good habits as opposed to do this till you lose ten pounds then go back to "normal" actions. I'm still fine-tuning my list, so I won't share it yet. But I will share the first one-

No snacking after __pm.

Will you help me figure out what that hour should be?

Most people say 7 but I think that is unrealistic....so I say after 8. Be ready for the gum though!!! That is what I had to do!!! :) Hope this helps!

I've heard 9pm, but we are late eaters because of our schedules. We never have dinner before 7:30. I guess it depends on your bedtime. This is a tough one!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I decided to go with 8pm. I think that's reasonable. I did good tonite..I just have to keep it up! Yay for good habits!

Of course no one but your mother could inflict the painful news that I believe it's 6pm. That's what I learned from Oprah. It does seem to work for me -- even if I eat things I shouldn't, if I quit at 6pm I'm still good.
